Gaging Systems

Vibcon Corporation offers four styles of gaging systems:

• Mechanical - The parts are normally fed through a feed system to a pneumatic shuttle that places one part at a time into a fixture where a cylinder will feed down and touch the part at a specific point and then using a LVDT sensor or proximity switch or other sensing device will measure the part. The part is then ejected down good or bad chutes.
• Optic/Camera - This is similar to mechanical but can be done "on the fly" with the parts feeding down a conveyor.Misoriented parts are kicked off the belt and good parts continue on.
• Weight - This is similar to the mechanical except weight of the part is used instead of sensor. Very good for complexplastic molded parts.
• Sorting - This can be done either in a bowl feeder or mechanically.

Critical Options

Vibcon Corporation builds not only bowls but also special floor feeders and non standard conveyors. This diversification enables us to offer the best system for yourapplication. In fact, many parts that are too large or not suited to feeder bowls are better suited for a floor feeder system. From a 1 to 50 cubic foot standard floor feederhopper to a specially tooled gravity or opposing belt system, accumulator table or magazine loader, Vibcon can fulfill your requirements. All components are designedand sized for durability. Most drives are supplied with torque limiters for safety. In addition, Vibcon builds a small, 1 to 6 cu. ft., "Space Saver" floor feeder hopper thatmates well with virtually any feeder bowl and offers options and variations to handle any situation. Each is designed for maximum efficiency, operator friendliness and safety.

Warranty

All Vibcon systems come with a one year/one million cycle warranty, although an extended warranty is also available upon request. Diligent service is our specialty. Regardless of the size of your operation, you can expect to be treated with the same level of interest and enthusiasm at Vibcon.
