Spring Detanglers

Coil spring detanglers (also known as “Untanglers” or “Unscramblers”) are used because coiled springs can be problematic in the automatic feeding and handling. This is because coiled springs that are mechanically interlocked, have open ends or the coils entwined in each other cannot be automatically separated. However, springs that have closed loops on the ends can usually be separated without damage to the spring.

Depending on the geometry of the spring, a number of devices including compressed air can be used to help separate the springs from each other. Vibratory parts feeders can often separate and feed the spring to the customer’s transfer point and when coupled with a centrifugal or rotary spring separator will handle the toughest applications. Depending on the spring, Vibcon will design a cost effective, dependable, automatic or manual system based on the use of one or more of these items.

In fact, many parts that are too large or not suited to feeder bowls are better suited for a floor feeder system. From a 1 to 50 cubic foot standard floor feederhopper to a specially tooled gravity or opposing belt system, accumulator table or magazine loader, Vibcon can fulfill your requirements. All components are designedand sized for durability. Most drives are supplied with torque limiters for safety. In addition, Vibcon builds a small, 1 to 6 cu. ft., "Space Saver" floor feeder hopper thatmates well with virtually any feeder bowl and offers options and variations to handle any situation. Each is designed for maximum efficiency, operator friendliness and safety.

Warranty

All Vibcon systems come with a one year/one million cycle warranty, although an extended warranty is also available upon request. Diligent service is our specialty.
