  GAGING SYSTEMS                                 

                 Vibcon Corporation offers four styles of gaging systems. .

                                MECHANICAL - The parts are normally fed through a feed system to a pneumatic shuttle that places one part at a
                                                  time into a fixture where a cylinder will feed down and touch the part at a specific point and then using  a
                                                  LVDT sensor or proximity switch or other sensing device will measure the part. The part is then ejected
                                                  down good or bad chutes.
                                 
                                OPTIC/CAMERA - This is similar to mechanical but can be done "on the fly" with the parts feeding down a conveyor.
                                                   Misoriented parts are kicked off the belt and good parts continue on.

                                WEIGHT - This is similar to the mechanical except weight of the part is used instead of sensor. Very good for complex
                                                    plastic molded parts.
                                      
                                SORTING - This can be done either in a bowl feeder or mechanically.
